The "Esther Bridge 'Pop' Quizzes" website includes a series of bridge quizzes developed by Esther. Each brief quiz poses a bridge quandary or a series of bridge quandaries. Every Quiz also includes a Hyperlink to Esther's suggested answer(s) to the quandary or series of quandaries on a given Quiz. These answers are relatively detailed, and include references and links to related content on the "Esther Bridge Lessons" website.
Unlike the "Esther Bridge Lessons" and the "Esther Bridge Conventions Lessons", which vary in levels of focus and difficulty, the "Esther Bridge 'Pop' Quizzes" are more uniformly targeted at serving newer players. Enjoy! And please please tell all your Bridge Friends!!!

Esther Bridge 'Pop' Quiz" #103 is a very, very special "Esther Bridge 'Pop' Quiz"! This special 'Pop' Quiz both tests and teaches. Quiz #103 covers (1) your knowledge about Bridge Scoring and (2) your knowledge about how Duplicate Pairs MatchPoint and Total Percentages are computed. Would you start competing in football or cricket if you did not really understand how the competition was scored??? To bid and compete effecively in duplicate bridge you similarly must reasonably soon become facile in your understanding of how duplicate bridge is scored!!!

Special "Esther Bridge 'Pop' Quiz"

In February, 2024 Esther added a new Special Quiz, "Test Your Knowledge of the Plethora of Some of the More Exotic Bidding Conventions: A Special (and Challenging) Esther Bridge 'Pop' Quiz". ["con_quiz.pdf" =] This Special Quiz involves a comprehensive overview of Conventions, but is not intended for beginners. Esther says, "Even if you are not yet ready to play some of these more Advanced Conventions, it may help you to (1) get a general 'lay of the land' about what your bridge future may eventually involve, and (2) have some (albeit vague) understanding of some of these Conventions in case you encounter Opponents who are bidding these Conventions!"

Another and Recommended
"Bridge Quiz" Website

For a very good and diverse set of bridge web-based quizzes that provide immediate feedback, albeit with very terse/brief explanations, see the Quizzes section of Grand Lifemaster (20K+ MPs) Richard Pavliceck's bridge teaching website: rpbridge.net. For example, the Bidding Quizes each consist of about 15 questions. Your bridge Hand is presented, along with any prior bidding, and you are asked to type what you would bid. Immediate feedback is given. The next few bids are given. Then you are asked what you would bid next, and so forth, until the contract is set on a given Board. Each quiz consists of a series of 3 or 4 Boards.
Although the website is not secure, the website does not collect any information of any kind from users, and certainly not any sensitive information, so obviously therefore none of your personal information can be stolen on his website! A Free Bridge Bidding
Practice Website

A free Standard American Yellow Card (SAYC) bridge bidding practice website is the SAYC Bridge Bidding website. The website lets you select what type of Hands you wish to bid (i.e., random, NT, preempts, or "strong" 2C openings). Then the website shows you your Hand and the bidding by Partner and Opponents. Once your Hand is revealed you can skip the Hand, ask for the answer, bid, or if you wich correct your initial bid. Then the website will tell you if your bid is correct or if your bid is incorrect will tell you the correct bid.
